Third-Party Served (VAST)

Video File Requirements: Refer to previous video file specs. The source video file used to create a VAST must adhere to these requirements.

Minimum Required Video File Transcode: 

  • 1920x1080 at 2000 kbps

Max 30 FPS

VAST 3.0 only, VPAID is not accepted

Must NOT have geo, browser or any other targeting on the third party end.

Required alphanumeric "id" attribute populated on the <Creative> element in VAST XML

Supported 3rd Party Vendors:

  • DCM, Active View must be disabled
  • Sizmek
  • Innovid
  • Flashtalking

Supported 3rd Party Tracking Events:

Twitch does not allow the use of any unapproved 3rd party ad technologies.

Twitch requires all ads and 3rd party vendors to be SSL-compliant. All components of video and display ads including creative and tracking must be provided as and able to serve via SSL (HTTPS).
